Kids & Clay - Grades 1-3 & 4-6 |

Play with clay for an entire week! Each day you will complete a new project - from relief tiles and coiled pots to throwing on a wheel. You will experience many processes and have a lot of fun. Return to MCAC to glaze your work during Glaze Dayz: Sat., June 21 or Sat., August 2, from 10-12pm. Don’t forget: dress for a mess! 5 Classes per session, $100 per session (includes materials) |

Utilizing paper mache and plaster gauze, students will be introduced to sculptural building methods and mask design. Participants will imagine, build and paint a hard mask which can be worn or used as a decorative wall ornament. Traditional uses of masks will be discussed.
